# Introducing Eclipse

Eclipse is a superior light-based leak detection technology for cans and ends. This ultra-sensitive leak detection technology that is 8x more sensitive than infrared and traditional light detection methods. Eclipse penetrates smaller cracks more efficiently improving detection of circuitous defects.

 

**End Light Testing**

Eclipse outperforms existing light testing technology 20x by easily detecting 0.5 micron holes and cracks in can ends at speeds over 1,000 ends per minute. Eclipse technology is offered on new EOE conversion presses. Retrofits to existing end light test systems also available.

**Can Body Light Testing**

Eclipse detects beyond 0.5 mil holes in can bodies at speeds over 3,600 cans per minute. Eclipse technology can be utilized on light testers on Necker machinery as well as other standalone can body light testers such as the Randolph and Reynolds light testers. Upgrades to existing machines are available.
